Keerthy Suresh

Keerthy Suresh (born 17 October 1992) is an Indian actress who appears predominantly in Tamil as well as Telugu films in addition to some Malayalam films. She was awarded the National Film Award in Best Actress category for her work as actress Savitri. The actress also won three SIIMA Awards and a Filmfare Award South. Keerthy Kumar Suresh is actor Menaka G. Suresh's daughter. In the early 2000s, she started her career as an actress. After studying fashion design, Keerthy returned to film. She played the leading role in Geethaanjali an Malayalam film. She went on to star in successful films such as Ring Master (2014), Rajinimurugan (2016), Remo (2016), Bairavaa (2017), Nenu Local (2017), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Mahanati (2018), Sarkar (2018), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Penguin (2020), Miss India (2021), Good Luck Sakhi (2022) and Sarkaru Vaari Paata (2022). Her first film outside of Malayalam was Idhuenna Maayam (2015) which she acted in with Vikram Prabhu. The film didn't do well in the theater. It it was A. L. Vijay along with Vikram, who released Idhu Enna Maayam in 2015. The film didn't fare very well, but it did get released. In order to fit in larger projects, she was forced to cancel projects she'd been working on for a while. This comprised Krishna's Maane Thaene Paeye as well as Kavalaivendam by Deekay. In a short time she collaborated with Sivakarthikeyan in Rajini Murugan, Remo and was also the lead actor on Prabhu Sool's Thodari with Dhanush. She made her Telugu debut was planned in the form of Ainaa Ishtam nuvvu. The film has been being delayed from 2015 with the possibility of release in September 2020 under a name change to Janakitho Nenu. The debut film came out as Nenu Sailaja in 2016 featuring actress Ram Pothineni. Keerthy was cast as Vijay on screen in Bairavaa by Bharathan, which premiered on 17 January 2017.
